We are looking for an accountant to help streamline all day-to-day accounting procedures plus month end responsibilities. This is a well-rounded position in which the employee is involved in all aspects of an accounting department. Full-time, permanent position available.

Responsibilities:

• General Ledger: Journal entries, bank reconciliations, COGS for US corporate headquarters as well as three international subsidiary locations.
• Sales & Use Tax: Calculate and file MN and 3 international subsidiary returns.
• Fixed Assets: Input data into Fixed Asset system, run depreciation program and enter monthly journal entries.
• Payroll : Weekly payroll calculation, quarterly and annual government payroll returns.
• Accounts Payable: Assists in processing accounts payable invoices and works with vendors and purchasing to resolve discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable: Manages the A/R function which includes submitting customer invoices, cash application and payment discrepancy resolution. Monitors A/R aging and makes credit limit recommendations.
