Navistar has an exciting new opportunity for a
Sr. Technical Customer Service Representative to support our dealer network by researching parts per VIN for all Navistar manufactured vehicles. Knowledge of engineering drawings, part research via catalog and online systems, and build records, etc. will assist in identifying components. This role also works internally within our customer service organization by providing support including parts inquiries and other ad hoc technical details.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or case system, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels
- Provide front line customer service to our International dealerships regarding part identification
- Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities
- Document customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge experience
OR
- Master’s degree
OR
- At least 4 years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge experience

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - Excellent communication skills including interactions with customers
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Fluent in office software and comfortable working in multiple systems
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving
- Confident self-starter that drives for results under minimal supervision

- Ability to react quickly, make effective decisions and functions well under pressure
- Ability to research part information using Engineering drawings
- Familiarity with part numbering structure and Engineering specifications
