DEPCOM Power is looking for a Senior Quality Manager. This role will be based remotely with travel up to 60%.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Be responsible for all sites of active construction and active repair through our Repower+ Business Unit overseeing the Quality Regional Managers and Site Quality Supervisors
• Be familiar with the contract and the SOW for each of the sites assigned to ensure compliance
• Responsible for training junior Quality personnel in all aspects of inspection, documentation, auditing and testing from Civil work through Commissioning on multiple sites
• Develop Quality Management and Quality Training systems that are effective to providing best in class service to our clients
• Formulate applicable ITP's and checklists for the requirements of each site
• Develop site specific Quality Plans that adhere to all contract requirements while aiming to exceed customer expectations
• Ensure all junior Quality personnel are trained and able to conduct quality inspections, quality sampling, establish benchmarking and perform all necessary documentation to establish permanent record of tasks performed
• Monitor audit scores to identify, track and act upon trends or areas that need attention or controls implemented to better adhere to the Quality Management System standards
• Develop programs to train subcontract Quality personnel in construction inspection and documentation methods required by DEPCOM
• Attend site kick-off meetings as DEPCOM's Quality representative to external clients
• Work with DEPCOM and Site leadership (Project Management, Construction Management and discipline supervisors) to establish best practice methods for the unique site requirements
• Assist DEPCOM Quality Director in application of Quality Management System, provide inputs on adjustments required to promote continuous improvement initiatives, and be the Quality Management System champion for all field/site activities

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and construction techniques in building of utility scale PV solar plants
• Experience in utility scale PV solar build sequence
• Experience developing Quality plans and training personnel
• Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
• Ability to interpret and apply SOW in construction contracts

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in commissioning utility scale PV solar plants
• Experience in training programs and their development
• Lean/Six-Sigma Greenbelt or higher
