Your role at Baxter
You’ll have the opportunity to partner with all levels of the organization in this critical Sr. Analyst, Business Operations role managing multimillion-dollar trading partners in our Channel Operations team.
The Senior Analyst is responsible for the manual resolution of different operational issues that requires day to day routine processing for the Channel Operations (CHOPs) area. CHOPs team works within tight deadlines in order to ensure that all financial transactions between Baxter and Distributors are processed efficiently and ensure the cash application and chargeback generation activities are in accordance with our Distribution Agreements. CHOPs also interacts with Cash Application activities related to CHOPs customers and resolution of inquiries and communicates frequently with the Customer Master team, Sales Team, Incentive Compensation and Contracts.
What you'll be doing
Resolve all complex errors related to trace and charge-backs, cross reference errors, pricing errors, etc.
Ensure that pricing between Baxter and trading partners are aligned correctly and resolve discrepancies when pricing is out of sync
Support BAS (Baxter American Services) team with uploading the complex debit memos received from the trading partners into BAM (Baxter Agreement Management System)
Follow up on high impact open errors and Accounts Receivable (A/R) within a timely manner
Support BAS (Baxter American Services) team with monthly offset activities via Calendar to ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Perform monthly Channel Operations responsibilities such as inactive account process, generating daily reports, and responding to inquiries from different channels.
Properly follow up on requests sent by BAS (Baxter American Services) team, Sales Team and Managers
Continuously evaluate current operations to provide innovation ideas to optimize and improve the processes in all CHOPs activities
Responsible for contributions to and/or creations of standard operating procedures and the maintenance of those procedures
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
2+ years of experience in Analytics, Operations, Contracts and/or Pricing
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, JDE, Outlook, SharePoint, Cognos and AS400 usage to resolve requests/issues
Technical expert (macros, BAM, Cognos, Excel)
Detail oriented, proactive, able to organize workload and prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a team member
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $60,000 to $132,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
