Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and experienced School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist who can effectively provide remote speech and language services to students in a school setting. As a Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in conducting assessments, providing therapy, and collaborating with educators to support students' communication needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct remote speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication skills and identify areas of need.
Provide virtual speech-language therapy sessions to students through video conferencing platforms.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals and intervention strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address students' speech and language needs in the educational setting.
Monitor students' progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding classroom strategies and accommodations for students with communication difficulties.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and IEP meetings.
Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology and implement them in daily work.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Previous experience working as a school-based speech-language pathologist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for remote assessments and therapy sessions.
Knowledge of special education processes and regulations.
Strong understanding of communication disorders and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
