Roncalli High School on the southside of Indianapolis is hiring a Special Education teacher for 2023-2024.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct instruction to Life Academy students
- Creates and Implements ISP (Individual Student Plan)
- Develops appropriate instructional strategies and activities
- Develops effective behavior management plans for students
- Directs and coordinates instructional assistants
- Coordinates community work/study placements
- Provides job coach support at community work/study placements
- Collaborates with other Special Education teachers/support staff and the general education teachers on curriculum and student needs
