Spanish-Speaking Child and Youth Counselor Job at Merraine Group
Available shifts: Full-time 40hrs, 4 days a week. Afternoon-night or Overnight shift
LOCATION: Columbia County, NY (15 miles West of Lenox, MA)
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents.
- Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to work a 40-hour or week.
- Must have full COVID vaccination.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and engage with youth to promote positive behaviors.
- Consistently reinforce positive and acceptable behaviors while maintaining fairness.
- Maintain a supportive and therapeutic environment consistently.
- Participate in the treatment team process to ensure coordinated care for the residents.
- Implement the daily schedule and program routines.
- Assist assigned residents with specific tasks to support their development.
- Follow agency protocols and procedures appropriately.

Salary: $45,900.00 - $46,900.00 per year
