Reporting to the Vice President of Procurement, the Manager, Source-to-Pay role is designed for the procurement professional with a strategic vision to implement broad organizational goals within the concept of Total Cost of Ownership.
Under limited direction this position is responsible for leading the implementation of an end-to-end Procurement solution and will be responsible for providing operational oversight of procurement operations processing, compliance, and problem solving of various types relating to procure-to-pay transactions.
This position will lead and execute the development of strategic initiatives and continuous improvement of procure to pay processes including technology system integrations, and through metric analytics to ensure effective service delivery to external vendors and internal stakeholders
OBJECTIVES:
- Implement new end-to-end procurement solution to aide in gaining additional productivity within the procurement space
- Lead, coach, mentor a cross cultural and diverse team that support procurement activities across all manufacturing, distribution, and corporate entities in both the US and Canada.
- Increasing efficiency of procurement operations, with a focus on streamlining, simplifying, and automating processes across the entire procure-to-pay cycle
- Controlling, troubleshooting, and working on improvements for requisition and purchase order processing.
- Lead internal sourcing events through the implemented technology
- Manage procurement catalogues and policies
- Implement various scorecards and KPI’s that help manage to a Total Cost of Ownership operating methodology.
- Monitoring performance and development of direct reports including providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling.
- Take ownership of key spend areas, implementing controls and procedures to support, and driving cost conscious culture.
- Partner with all levels of leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective business and vendor relationships
- Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and make recommendations for future investments while identifying possible savings opportunities
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assure AM Supplier guidelines and expectations are being met.
- Work with Procurement Team to help organize and facilitate cross functional formal Commodity Strategies to align short-, medium-, and long-term goals align with the needs of the business.
- Ensures development and implement global strategic sourcing standard business processes and ensure usage and compliance to AM policies to drive a best-in-class strategic sourcing organization
- Lead various purchasing initiatives through reverse auctions and/or on line formalized RFQ exercises
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure business needs are being addressed
- Be disruptive and challenge the status quo while mitigating risk
- Ensure Talent development plans are in place for all team members.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, or Computer Science- At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement management in a high volume, highly complex manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Experience with procurement systems and familiarity with source to pay technical platforms - such as Jaggaer.
- Ability to lead a diverse team inclusive of a hybrid office model
- Demonstrates strong written, verbal, analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams in both plant and corporate environments.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
- Demonstrated abilities to implement process change improvements and best practices.
- CPM or APICS a plus.
