The ideal candidate for our Front End UI/UX Web Developer owns and is accountable for the research, planning, and implementation of visual elements and design continuity across multiple company websites. This person will drive workflow analysis, present feature and layout prototypes for discussion, and ultimately implement web designs based on their findings. The developer will use their research and problem-solving skills to create intuitive user-centric interfaces that support both clinical and aesthetic client bases.

Job Description:

• Demonstrate practical working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop dynamically rendered pages using JS and AJAX data
• Primary person for design implementation
• Present design plans and UI ideas to internal clients as well as assist in the upgrade and optimization of existing UI designs
• Conduct ongoing research usability testing
• Create user-centric UI while being proficient with adaptive, data driven web sites and for writing cross-browser code
• Project participation from conception through completion, including gathering requirements, design and functionality development, and delivering a finished product
• Understand Human Factors fundamentals, User Experience & Object-Oriented principles and practices and possess the ability to deliver a finished project without relying on frameworks
• Works alongside a team of other developers and will be supported by internal project teams that may act on behalf of external clients

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, computer science preferred
• 5+ years’ experience JavaScript (with closures)
• Proficiency for writing cross-browser code
• Experience in troubleshooting legacy systems and moving them forward

Desired:

• jQuery and Less CSS skills, or desire to learn
