Position Summary:
This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and documenting proprietary custom software. The software includes third-party and internally developed software applications used by customers and internal personnel. Provide 2nd level technical assistance on software deployment and training. Maintain a development environment and software version control. Comply with the quality system procedures surrounding JHACO accreditation, FDA, and ISO standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Fulfill individual goals and complete projects within the allotted scope, priority, and schedule.
- Contribute to the constant improvement of the Quality System processes and procedures.
- Contribute to establishing, managing, and monitoring quality control, quality assurance systems, and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize industry experience to make appropriate operational decisions.
- Innovate within the team and project area.
- Understand user needs, define system requirements, design & develop software solutions, verify and validate software, document the development, assist in software roll-outs, provide technical support, and assist in user training.
- Expert level: C#, SQL
- JAVA experience is a plus
- Network management a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, software engineering, or previous professional experience demonstrating knowledge of software development. All candidates must have at least 10 years of software development experience. This role is not an entry-level position.
