The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is seeking a part-time qualified and experienced individual to assist with developing and implementing training and professional development for internal and external school nutrition program staff; developing graphics products that will be utilized for a variety of projects, including presentations, marketing campaigns, general announcements, educational purposes, recruitment efforts, displays, etc.; assisting with implementing office grant activities; meeting grant objectives; and assisting with managing social media content and platforms.

Minimum Qualifications
- General knowledge of federal child nutrition programs.
- Training, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Professional experience in training, marketing, and communications.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, Virtual Meeting Platforms, and Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university; major in nutrition, food service, public health, education, marketing, or related field preferred.
Special Requirements
- Successful candidate must pass a criminal background check.
- Commonwealth of Virginia employees may have teleworking options available. Final teleworking agreements will be reviewed and approved upon hire.
