Our Burtonsville, MD, location is currently hiring for a Small Engine Technician!

What we are looking for:

• Sell, service, and supply parts for John Deere, Toro, Stihl, and Honda power equipment.
• Repair Riding Lawn Mowers, Walk Behind Lawn Mowers and other Outdoor Power Equipment such as Trimmers, Pressure Washers, Blowers, Chain Saws, and Generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance, and keep all tools and small engines clean, safe, and operational.
• Exercise judgment and discretion in resolving issues and/or making repairs.
• Provide top-tier customer service and product information on the store sales floor.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or equipment users.

What we are looking for from you:

• Lawn Mower/Tractor or small engine maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of small engines and their components.
• Ability to stand and walk in a store consistently for up to 4 hours or more at a time.
• Aptitude in using various hand tools.
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service skills.
