OVERVIEW
The Shop Helper will primarily be responsible for working diligently to keep the shop organized and clean and assist mechanics with shop jobs when necessary.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Will work diligently to keep the shop organized and clean
- Will work to keep the yard clean
- Seek to assist mechanics with shop jobs when necessary
- Unload delivery trucks as needed
- Seek to keep shop supplies stocked
- Will complete small jobs at the request of the Shop Manager and Branch Manager
- Make certain industrial batteries are kept on charge
- General maintenance and housekeeping
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a dynamic parts/warehouse background
- Organizational skills a MUST
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience safely operating lift trucks
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Clean Driving Record
- Strong Communication, interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow procedures as well as take initiative
