Position Overview: Service Technicians will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise with existing PV systems. Service Technicians are vital to the success of this construction company, ensuring projects are accurately planned, passed, and finished.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
● BE ABLE TO EFFECTIVELY AND CONFIDENTLY COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS DURING THE INITIAL FACE TO FACE GREETING.
● DOCUMENT THE PROJECT SITE WITH PHOTOS UTILIZING SMART PHONE APPLICATIONS
● PREP COMPLETED INSTALLATIONS FOR FINAL INSPECTION BY THE LOCAL BUILDING DEPARTMENTS
● COMMISSION SOLAR MONITORING SYSTEMS
● COMPLETE BASIC ELECTRICAL CONFIGURATIONS
● TROUBLESHOOT SYSTEMS
● PERFORM TESTING & TROUBLESHOOTING OF PV SYSTEMS
● TROUBLESHOOT ISSUES AS THEY ARISE; EVALUATE ALTERNATIVES AND PROPOSES SOLUTIONS
● MANAGE VEHICLE INVENTORY AND RESTOCK AS NECESSARY
● MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WORK AREA AND VEHICLE
QUALIFICATIONS:
● OVER THE AGE OF 21 WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
● PASS BACKGROUND & DRUG SCREENING
● ABLE TO CLIMB LADDERS DAILY
● COMFORTABLE WITH HEIGHTS
● COMFORTABLE WITH TIGHT SPACE (ATTICS & CRAWLSPACE)
● ABILITY TO OPERATE INDEPENDENTLY & MAKE DECISIONS IN THE FIELD
● PROBLEM SOLVING
● COACHABLE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
