The senior supply chain analyst will utilize both technical supply chain skills along side strong leadership competencies to help drive supply chain excellence for the Duncan manufacturing site. Experience and analytical capabilities related to strategic inventory design, purchasing and vendor management, and production planning over a 12 – 24 month period will be critical to success in the role. The senior supply chain analyst will be directly responsible for the forecasting of critical supply chain metrics such as net inventory, cost of goods sold, and inventory turns among others. Additional primary responsibilities will include ensuring alignment and balance between global supply chain initiatives and site supply chain design. The senior supply chain analyst will also be responsible for helping to drive implementation and sustainment of DBS (Danaher Business System) and DMS (Danaher Materials System) tools and fundamentals for the site. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP design and use for both make to order and make to stock product portfolios is required. SAP experience strongly preferred. The senior supply chain analyst will also need to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and will help to grow the overall supply chain maturity of the site through coaching of junior team members along with continuous improvement of existing processes. Ability to operate within a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) environment is required for success.
What you'll do
  • Maintain a robust and repeatable set of analytic reports and dashboards surrounding critical supply chain KPIs such as net inventory, cost of goods sold, inventory turns, on time delivery, and others that help to identify gaps in strategy or opportunity for continuous improvement.
  • Lead and be responsible for the PSP (problem solving process) for processes not achieving desired outcomes.
  • Drive maintenance and implementation of site PFEP (plan for every part) program.
  • Participate in Daily Management at Gemba to understand operational delays, challenges, and opportunities to help resolve issues causing disruption to the production and inventory plans.
  • Use DBS tools to seek out Kaizen opportunities in the interest of increased schedule attainment, PGI attainment, efficiency, utilization, and on time delivery.
  • Utilize DBS toolbox to drive KPI improvement including Problem Solving Process (PSP), Action Plans (APs), and Kaizen
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Effectively facilitates through conflict to ensure listening and adherence and support differences of opinions
  • Strong ability to help develop junior associates in areas of supply chain, planning, and inventory design and optimization
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills – data analysis, manipulation, visualizations
  • Exceptional SAP Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing module skills
  • Other duties as assigned
Who you are
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or data/business analytics.
  • 6+ years of supply chain experience in roles directly supporting a manufacturing facility
  • Experience in make to stock and make to order environments
  • 3+ years’ experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • A comprehensive understanding of production planning, demand analysis, inventory design, and direct material purchasing
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (mastery of vlookups and pivot tables are minimum requirement)
  • 4+ years using SAP ERP system with specific experience in any combination of the following modules: warehousing, production planning, purchasing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in data / business analytics
  • APICS CPIM or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience developing Power BI dashboards/reports
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Visual Basic programming (Excel “Macros”)
  • Certification in a continuous improvement discipline (Six Sigma Greenbelt, CP in a DBS fundamental, etc.)

Ability to interact with all levels of the business (senior leaders to working teams), exceptionally good listening skills, able to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with others in the spirit of common objectives. Find ways to remove barriers creating silos between departments
  • Planning and Execution: Excellent project management and prioritization skills. Solid business acumen. Able to deliver results despite shifting environment
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Able to identify problems; apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause using data. Innovative and effective solution development, risk mitigation and execution. Hands-on experience with most of the following Lean / Problem solving tools: DMAIC, Lean, voice of the customer, benchmarking, quality function deployment, control charts, standardized work, etc.
