Senior Software Engineer Job at OBMedia
OBMedia is seeking Senior Software Engineers to support our efforts to grow and scale our successful online advertising business and we’re hoping it’s you!
We’re looking for mid-career software engineers who have experience building enterprise class systems that perform 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
OBMedia has long-term relationships with the leading online advertising networks, and we are growing rapidly. Yet, we are small enough that you'll get the opportunity to work on multiple projects ranging from market optimization using machine learning to high reliability and high scalability applications using some of the latest technologies.
We are a team of engineers and analysts working to expand and maintain a big data driven online advertising system. It’s interesting and challenging work, rife with opportunities for collaborative thinkers to make outsized contributions.
Specific technology tools and methodologies you’ll be using on the job include:
- Python
- PHP (Laravel)
- Javascript (Node and Vue.js)
- AWS
- Snowflake
- Apache Spark/Databricks
Ideally, you’ll have demonstrated experience in as many as possible of the above, which helps us assess your capabilities, but an aptitude for learning new tech is a hallmark of a successful developer, so we encourage all interested parties to apply!
If this sounds interesting to you, drop us a line and tell us about yourself. We’re looking forward to a conversation.
About Us:
We’re a small, profitable company, who have been working remotely since long before it became trendy. We are a subsidiary of the Enero Group, a publicly-held corporate family listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. What this combination means for you is the opportunity to work autonomously in a startup-like environment, while enjoying the stability provided under the larger corporate umbrella.
Internet advertising is a complex and fast paced marketplace and we compete in many areas of it while constantly exploring new opportunities. Doing so successfully requires a dedicated team of technologists, quantitative thinkers, and media strategists, working together to find, and take advantage of, those opportunities. We’ve been doing this successfully since 2001, and we’re pretty good at it. We are looking for people who help us be better.
