Key job responsibilities Amazon is seeking an operations--oriented leader to join our Workforce Staffing team. This role will focus on providing our candidates with the same amazing experience that our customers have come to expect from Amazon.com. The Workforce Staffing, West Zone Leader, will lead a large 500+ member team based in the Western half of the United States responsible for two primary deliverables: 1. providing an exceptional candidate experience during pre-boarding of our new hourly associates 2. Meeting labor demand by generating candidates through grass roots recruitment. This individual will collaborate with the centralized applicant sourcing, advertising, analytics, business operations and finance teams to deliver effective delivery of workforce strategies across different employee types. Candidates must reside in the Western Region of the US. Travel up to 50% required within North America
- Experience analyzing data using various tools for forecasting and optimization
- Experience reviewing and analyzing process defect data and the development of corresponding countermeasures
- Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics including return on investment
- Cross-functional project management experience
- Possess excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $180,400 - $244,100 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. The pay range for this position in Jersey City is $198,500 - $268,500 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $268,500/year in our highest geographic market.
