Beacon Building products is hiring a senior recruiter to support our growing sales organization. The sales recruiter will be responsible for driving hires supporting our field-based sales organization across the US and Canada. The sales recruiter will ensure there is a strong candidate pipeline, seamless interview process and that ideal candidates join the Beacon team.

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selected candidates to further validate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral-based interview
  • Build and cultivate relationships across all levels and business areas including both clients and HR stakeholders
  • Gather candidate feedback from interview teams
  • Manage the data associated with the recruitment process
  • Build strong relationships with internal clients while partnering with the HRBPs
  • Screen, and interview prospective professional candidates
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates as required by the position using sourcing strategies such as passive candidate sourcing, leverage assigned sourcers, employ individual methodologies to source candidates via social media
  • Create and maintain strong networking relationships with internal customers and external talent sources
  • Work as a key member in supporting the company’s Diversity Initiatives with a focus on networking and talent acquisition
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a broad understanding of the external market, and how it may influence Talent Acquisition strategies
  • Drive a positive candidate experience to ensure engagement throughout the recruitment process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience managing stakeholders and candidates
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruitment or other related professional service function required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong assessment skills; understanding of competencies and job performance
  • Create and foster relationships with colleges and professional organizations in order to attract and recruit diverse candidates
  • Outgoing, calm, focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, entrepreneurial professional
  • Organized, detail oriented and demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities
  • Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, internet, HRIS
