We are now hiring for a full-time Senior Outcome and Evalution Analyst to join our Team!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages, monitors, and supports program-specific and agency-wide Tableau dashboard builds
  • Conducts extensive data cleaning and analysis using advanced software like R, SQL, and Python
  • Familiar with coding and report creation in agency databases like SmartCare, ChildPlus, LegalServer, REDCap, etc.
  • Familiar with building datasets using multiple input files and managing or analyzing claims data or similar large datasets
  • Database development, manipulation, and management, including SQL queries, data fidelity, and data monitoring
  • Provides consultation and technical assistance to program partners at all levels in areas of program development, outcome measurement, and program evaluation
  • Assist with specific data queries, providing periodic updates on key statistics from multiple data sources
  • Ability to shift between multiple projects, work with different team members, seek feedback and clarification, be detail-oriented, and think of creative and innovative ways to improve processes and deliverables
  • Provides support, training, and technical assistance to staff on data-related activities when necessary
  • Continuously increases knowledge base around essential functions, through conferences, meetings, training and other learning opportunities
  • May supervise staff, volunteers and/or interns.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in statistics, data science, data engineering, computer science, public policy, social service field, or applicable quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 5 to 6 years of increasing levels of experience in data monitoring, cleaning, and analysis for varying audiences (REQUIRED)
  • Advanced skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis with specific training in R and Python or SQL (REQUIRED)
  • Advanced skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis with specific training in Tableau (PREFFERED)
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills required.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills.
  • Mobility to travel throughout metropolitan Chicago required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), Power Point, and Internet applications.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved Medical exemption is obtained, weekly testing may be required, based on program requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
