Job Summary:
This role sits within the Commercial Business team for RWE Clinical Trials and is focused on working with customer teams and RWE Clinical Trials Business to shape and close transactions that drive business growth. The Senior Manager, Strategic Pricing will design and present client- or partner-specific pricing strategies or models that support proactive and competitive strategic business development clinical trial opportunities during the proposal phase of the pre-sales process. Operating in this position will involve understanding customer and internal RWE Clinical Trials and competitor capabilities operational, therapeutic, and technological, and business financial principles as well as an ability to work with diverse teams of people from across Walgreens to architect solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the day to day activities of Strategic Pricing for the RWE Clinical Trials business
- Collaborates with customers and internal stakeholders to create and implement pricing or delivery strategies and tools to support sales, revenue, and profit growth.
- Responsible to provide integrated pricing activities in support of customers and the RWE Clinical Trial business. Works with internal teams to translate operational strategies into cost competitive solutions that align with customer needs.
- Works with internal and external customers to create and implement traditional and non traditional pricing delivery alternatives, tactics, and methodologies to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our pricing tools.
- Responsible for discussions on business pricing delivery strategy and direction and ensures a consistent application of our strategies across all opportunities.
- Fully supports the management team to ensure all team goals and objectives are met

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in CRO, Contract Management, and or Finance OR High School/GED and at least 7 years of experience in CRO, Contract Management, and or Finance.
- Degree in Business, Healthcare or other directly related.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in CRO, Contract Management, and or Finance, with up to 5 years direct pricing experience.
- Experience in Real World Evidence, Patient Recruitment, Clinical Trials, or Site Management Services.
- Knowledge of pricing, finance, operations, contract negotiations and CRO industry.
- Strategic business and Industry awareness.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating business plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
- Experience and ability to help coach and mentor staff and supported teams.
- Ability to design and implement pricing, delivery and budgeting strategies to drive growth for a large global organization
- Excel and financial analysis skills sufficient to support analysis and development of delivery strategies and budgets, pricing methodologies and systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to or at least 10 % of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
