Job location: Denver, CO / Rochester Hills, MI

Compensation: $135,000 to $155,000 + bonus

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, eligible for flexible time off + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days, 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match, & Tuition Reimbursement

Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, or related field required.

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive compensation and management experience
  • Expertise in job evaluation and compensation planning tools
  • Project managment experience and demonstrated program design and management skills
  • Previous global HR experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Higher Education/Master's degree

  • You'll be working with the global compensation team to design and implement compensation programs, policies and procedures that are compelling, competitive, locally compliant, and equitable
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and administration of annual salary increase process that aligns with the Company's compensation philosophy
  • You'll be managing a team of 4 across the globe.
  • This position is vital to us because you will be providing consultation in the design, development, and implementation of variable compensation plans, including the Company's global bonus, sales, and manufacturing incentive plans

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct robust and meaningful analysis for management to use in making decisions related to compensation programs
  • Manage global survey participation, submission, and purchases and monitoring and evaluating benchmark data, pay structures, trend information and economic projections and recommending changes as appropriate to maintain a competitive market position and internal equity
  • Provide guidance on job evaluations and recommendations to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition
  • Partner closely with HRIS throughout the annual compensation planning cycle with focus on data integrity and accuracy
  • Develop and present compensation training to HR Business Partners and management related to compensation guidelines, performance planning, appraisal and reward systems
  • Manage the quarterly audit of the Company's annual bonus plan and the year-end funding allocations, manager planning, system calculations and timely global payouts
  • Oversee the Company's compensation benchmarking tool to ensure accuracy; managing the vendor to ensure the tool's functionality is up to date and supports the global compensation function and the Company's business objectives
  • Identify, report on, and publish KPI's/metrics and insights to communicate the impact of projects, initiatives, process improvements, and programs to internal stakeholders
  • Support and/or lead special projects, as needed, such as acquisition integration, organizational re-structuring, systems implementation, etc.
