Denver geotechnical consulting firm providing superior service in the Denver area for 50 years is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. Candidate must have a Professional Engineering License in the State of Colorado, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering degree with at least 10 years of geotechnical experience in the Denver metropolitan Front Range area. Must be familiar with writing geotechnical reports for residential and commercial projects, engaging with clients to start new projects to meet their development/building needs, setting up drilling and laboratory testing programs on new projects, evaluating soil/bedrock samples before and after testing to determine soil parameters for evaluating subgrade and slope stability, and provide development and foundation recommendations. Candidate expected to manage multiple projects and mentor staff engineers who will eventually grow to be the next AGW leaders to do the same! This will be an exceptional opportunity for the new candidate to lead this growing company into the next 50 years of doing great geotechnical work in the Denver metropolitan area!

Job Specifics:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or closely related discipline.

· A geotechnical background in the Denver metropolitan area with at least 10 years’ experience.

· Professional Engineer registration in Colorado.

· Ability to be effective with time management, self-leadership, attention to detail, mentoring young engineers and a great communicator with employees and clients.

· Ability to assess work situations and problem situations and to perform work independently and with other members of the engineering staff.

· Managing and meeting with clients, developing rapport with clients, other consulting engineers, architects and municipalities.
