About This Role
We are looking to hire a talented engineer to join our team as a Sr. Full Stack Engineer. As one of our first 15 employees, you will have the opportunity to shape not only our products, but also our company and culture.
You will report to the Head of Product Engineering and work closely with Product, Design and Growth teams.
What You Will Do
- Write structured, tested, readable and maintainable code for mobile apps and back-end systems
- Perform profiling, debugging and performance tuning
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distributed knowledge
- Contribute to designing and maintaining application architectures that are secure, reliable, performant and scalable
- Contribute to creating and improving engineering processes and establish best practices
- Help maintain the engineering wiki and other engineering resources
- Help support an Engineering brand that attracts top-tier talent
- Stay current with the latest front-end and back-end technologies, processes and best practices and share your findings with the rest of the team

What You Have
- At least 4 years of experience developing consumer-facing mobile software
- At least 4 years of experience working on back-end code
- At least 4 years of experience deploying applications on AWS
- At least 2 years of experience with React Native
- Expert understanding of modern Javascript and Typescript
- Expert understanding of React Native design patterns and best practices
- Expert understanding of building highly secure products

Compensation
- $140K–$180K base salary + 0.1% – 0.5% in equity compensation based on skillset and experience
