As the Senior Employee Experience Program Manager at Bezos Academy, you will play a key role supporting our aspiration to be an employer of choice. You will design and oversee innovative programs that shape, measure, and positively impact our culture and every employee's experience at Bezos Academy.

You will be responsible for the development, execution, and ownership of initiatives that support our unique work culture and unite a diverse, nationally distributed team. You will design, deliver, and evolve an onboarding experience that helps employees feel connected and get off to a great start, right from day one. You will create mechanisms to gather and analyze employee feedback, with a focus on communication and delivering positive change informed by that feedback. You will identify and recommend programs that recognize our employees for their great work and celebrate key milestones (e.g., work anniversaries and significant life events). You will think creatively about how we can foster an environment where all employees feel valued and can do their best work on behalf of children. Above all, you share our passion for expanding access to tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities, supporting our readiness to scale to hundreds of schools nationwide.

LOCATION

  • Flexible in the United States; Seattle, WA preferred
  • Relocation support is available for those willing to relocate to Seattle, WA.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position.
  • The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $93,000 - $192,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location.
  • This role includes 15 paid days of vacation, 4 days of paid personal time off, 7 paid days of sick (care) time, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid days off for an organization-wide winter break, and additional time off if required by applicable law. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Six or more years of HR or related experience, with at least two years in a role owning employee and/or customer engagement programs, communications, and/or employer brand initiatives
  • Experience using data and insights to both build and manage effective, engaging organization-wide initiatives, including measuring impact across a geographically distributed and diverse population
  • Proven track record of successful program management experience, including leading the vision, strategy, and execution of multiple projects and/or programs simultaneously
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to industry-leading diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, with experience building trusting relationships across lines of difference
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time if not based in Seattle, WA (~15% if based in Seattle)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience developing programs from the ground up and driving continuous improvement
  • Experience designing employee communications and events with a focus on inclusion and belonging
  • Experience building and delivering engaging onboarding materials, including presentations, papers, and other deliverables in a variety of formats (including virtual, in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous)
  • Experience working with educators and/or the educational sector
  • Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing employee feedback via surveys and using survey platform tools
  • Experience coaching and influencing leaders and managers with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience
