Catholic Charities Northwest Senior Services in Arlington Heights has an opening for a Senior Care Coordinator - Caretiver Specialist. Please see below for a description and the link to apply:
The Caregiver Specialist assists family and other informal caregivers of older persons and relatives raising grandchildren to receive supportive services through ongoing case management. As identified through the use of an approved caregiver assessment tool to determine needs and goals. Services can include: resource information, counseling, respite, educational or training opportunities, support groups, gap filling services and/or other services to support the work of caregiving.
Minimum qualifications for the Caregiver Specialist include at least a BA, BSW, BSN or RN degree and one year of experience in social service provision to older persons. Counseling and support group facilitation experience is preferred. Full-time, 40 hour/week position. Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday. Occassional programming outside of the regular work hous. Based in Arlington Heights, covering the Northwest suburbs. Position includes home visits and in-person or virtual groups,
Salary base for bachelor's degree is $39,936 ($19.20 an hour).
Salary base for Master's degree is $47,552 ($22.86 an hour).
