Key Responsibilities
Brand and Digital – Communication Content Strategy Provides technical advice on and implements brand and content strategy across all channels (e.g., print, digital, email and social media communications) to support overall department and company goals; coordinates with communications teams; establishes quality standards and ensures work meets those standards.
Communications Planning Executes brand and communications plans within budget for customer communications and corporate initiatives; adheres to marketing communication calendar, annual editorial calendar and seasonal calendar in alignment with internal clients and stakeholders; advises clients on how best to optimize budget; manages print, digital and experiential projects; provides expert advice to clients on how best to optimize budget and resources.
Project Execution Project manages the production of materials (may include writing, editing, designing or developing), customizing by channel and audience as needed; makes decisions about content and how best to align to brand; determines which brand guidelines to apply; funnels all projects through appropriate review and quality assurance processes; gains buy-in from stakeholders; develops and implements methods for keeping clients and stakeholders informed on work via formal (presentations) and informal (emails, meetings) communications; ensures brand standards are maintained throughout campaigns; determines when work meets quality standards.
Communication Content Performance/Evaluation Develops and tracks metrics and return on investment (ROI) of brand and customer communications and evaluating customer satisfaction/engagement/brand research analyses to inform strategies and priorities.
Process Improvement Identifies best practices and emerging technologies and implements process improvements to maximize effectiveness in promoting and maintaining company brand.
Content Strategy Research Researches developments in communications, content strategy and brand positioning; incorporates new developments for projects; leverages qualitative and quantitative customer communication research to determine applicability and recommends and implements changes in departmental strategy.
Education/Experience/Certifications
Education Requires a bachelor’s degree communications, marketing, business or other related field or equivalent experience.
Experience Typically five or more years in communications or a related field.
