What we are looking for:
Grammer is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our Americas headquarters in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes. There will also be the opportunity to grow in our Finance and Accounting team!
What you will be doing:
· You will be supporting the Accounting function at our multiple manufacturing facilities across the US and Mexico. This will include, but is not limited to the following:
o Supporting the month end closing process
o Journal Entries supporting monthly processes as needed and daily/weekly/monthly GL postings and processes
o Intercompany price confirmation and reconciliations
o Intercompany loan review and management
o Support/maintain banking process – reconciliations, cash forecasting and cash management
o Payroll review and processing
o Month end GL account reconciliations
o Balancing of AR and AP to subledger
o AR factoring reporting/management
o Year end audit
o Leasing and POC per IFRS requirements
o Month End reporting packages for corporate reporting
o Tax forms/filings as needed (1099s, PPT, etc.)
· Prepare miscellaneous reports requested by regional and global management
· Support the annual operating budget process and monthly forecasting where needed
· Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports requested by government agencies
· Help manage and prepare data for external audits
· Complete special projects and other duties as assigned, as this is an evolving position.

What you will bring along:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
· Knowledge of SAP highly preferred
· 5+ years of recent and relevant accounting and general ledger experience
· 1 to 2 years of recent supervisory experience
· Organized and detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of deliverables
· Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
· Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills
· Must have strong work ethic
