Ferrellgas is on the hunt for a Senior Accountant to join our team This position is responsible for accurately performing moderately complex and varied accounting activities. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate internal and external financial reports, analysis, and account reconciliations and will be involved in a variety of process improvement and financial projects.

- Journal entry preparation or review
- Assists reports department in the preparation of all annual, quarterly and current SEC filings
- Prepares monthly internal financial reports
- Prepares accurate schedules and reports
- Prepares or reviews account reconciliations
- Member or leader of financial projects
- Bachelor’s of science degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
- CPA Required
- 5+ years’ experience required
- IFS knowledge preferred
- Ability to adapt to change, take on new responsibilities, and adjust plans to meet changing needs
- Ability to make decisions systematically and consider the impact of the decision
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
