We are looking for dedicated and highly qualified professional for the position of SENIOR ACCOUNTANT to work at our corporate office in Mission Valley, San Diego CA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations
• Approve journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare various monthly general ledger account reconciliations
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform other general accounting functions
• Approve journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation
• Prepare month end journal entries and various balance sheet reconciliations
• Approve month end balance sheet reconciliations
• Supervise the general ledger accounting staff and functions
• Supervise the accounts receivable and accounting staff
• Perform various accounting general ledger duties and analysis
• Approve monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to general ledger
• Review and posting of accounting staff journal entries
• Maintain balance sheet account analysis and prepare monthly journal entries
• Applying cash receipts, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Applying cashreceipts, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Prepare monthly general closing entries
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for advanced accounts
• Prepare End of the moth Closing Reports
• Tax filling, and processing Accounts Payable.
• Monthly Reconciliation
• Audit Support

Specialized skills:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration or closely related field required.

· OR equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of experience
• Must Be a US Citizen
• Must pass pre-employment background check
• Must pass pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualification:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 8 years of experience in accounting with a Company that provides service type contracts to DoD
