Seasonal Employee - Parks Employee Job at Village of Sussex
The Village of Sussex is hiring several seasonal park employees to work 32 – 40 hours per week for the summer of 2023. Duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, trimming, weeding, cleaning park restrooms, athletic field prep, painting, mulching, garbage removal, event set-up/take-down, special event staffing (particularly for the 4th of July) and assistance with a variety of park projects. Weekend work will be required on a rotating basis.
The starting wage is $14 per hour. Work will be available May through August, but specific start and end dates are flexible and dependent on the employees availability.
Must be 17 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license. Positions are open until filled. High school students with valid work permit will be considered.
Full-time seasonal employees may enroll up to two children in the Village of Sussex day camp program for free.
