Job Summary:

This person must conduct the following activities in accordance with the Bramco Statement of Principles:

The Scrap and Waste PSR is responsible for the coverage, retention, development, and customer satisfaction of a specific group of customers within an assigned territory. The Scrap and Waste PSR should live within the assigned territory. The position is responsible for the fulfillment of the following functions.

a) Coverage of the specified customers in a manner defined by the company. Will work closely with machine sales representative and Product Support Sales Manager to ensure good communication between all parties and that all are working as a team.

b} Maintenance of all required records regarding the customers in the assigned territory. Such as CRM Database, Component Forecasting System (CFS) for production machines), Etc.

  • Perform the selling function regarding undercarriage, using UMS for track management, and ground engaging measurements
  • Sell parts, labor, and service programs to assigned customers
  • Compliance in a timely manner with all company required information

  • Follow all policies and procedures specified by the Company
  • Maintain high employee morale
  • Maintain excellent customer relations by driving cost down and problem resolution
  • Attain short and long term objectives through good management and planning using CRM database

Job Duties:

  • Coverage of the specified customers in a manner defined by the company
    • All customer call coverage is conducted as directed
    • All customer call "pars" are achieved
    • Call reports are to be completed weekly as specified by company into CRM database
    • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, internal and external
    • Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate customer personnel
    • Coordinate communications between Brandeis Machinery the Customer and the Manufacturer to ensure total customer satisfaction
    • Take ownership of customer issues and follow up through close of issue
    • Ensure that all customers within the assigned territory are familiar with Brandeis Machinery products and services.
    • Attend regular staff meetings, corporate events, manufacturers' events
    • Appropriate communications with internal customer


  • Maintenance of all required records regarding the customers in the product support territory
    • Machine ownership records showing special attachments are maintained by make, model and serial number and listed in NDS system for all the machines we sold them. This should be a part of the pre-delivery.
    • Contact home branch a minimum of three times daily
    • Expense books to be fill out in Certify and dispatched to the Product Support Sales Manager in a timely manner
    • Pending deals updated on a weekly basis via the Brandeis CRM Database
    • Lost Sale Reports filled out weekly and sent via the Brandeis CRM Database
    • Furnish current information as requested to help maintain the Brandeis CRM Database
    • Prepare and maintain a customer quote file accessible to and for the use of the home branch
    • Visit any customer who has purchased new or used equipment from Brandeis within 72 hours of machine delivery. Purpose is to ensure the customer is satisfied with product, advise customer of our services and update Customer Profile Database.
    • Perform machine walk around and familiarization with customer personnel
    • Komatsu Care, promote the PM Maintenance for after Care sales


Key Qualifications, Skills, and Characteristics:

  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree in marketing, sales or a related field highly preferred
  • 2 + yrs experience of combined sales or technical experience
  • Business mindset, results driven, composed, and a positive attitude
  • Positive can-do attitude and personal accountability for delivering results, with the desire and willingness to continuously learn and grow
  • Goal oriented and strong desire for continuous personal growth.
  • Strong planning, personal organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and build strong relationships inside and outside of the company.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations and proposals.
  • Strong computer user skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer), and Windows-based and/or online software.
  • Able to routinely travel overnight for product demonstration, training or other company related business.
  • Individual is expected to reside in territory
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and a physical
