Scheduling Specialist Central Scheduling (Surgery Scheduler) Full Time Job at Grandview Medical Center
Performs a variety of clerical duties in connection with scheduling and billing of operative cases. Primary function is to schedule surgical procedures. Physician's offices will call and fax in requested procedures and the OR scheduler will complete the request in a timely and courteous manner. Experience with Cerner surgery scheduling a plus. Knowledge of surgical procedures a must. Medical terminology a must. Must be a good communicator and able to handle pressure. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Experience
Required- One to two years prior medical practice experience required. Experience with insurance billing, coding, pre-certifications and medical terminology required.
