Glades Talent is working with a standout Home Care agency looking to fill a Scheduling Coordinator role in the Harrisburg, PA area.
JOB SUMMARY
The Scheduler is responsible to coordinate and maintain scheduling for the agency's HomeCare clients and staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedules visits/shifts and hours by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client's needs.
- Manage a large daily volume of incoming phone calls/emails to resolve scheduling conflicts and/or concerns.
- Communicates new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients.
- Processes either manually or via computer, the data necessary to initiate accurate payroll, scheduling, and billing processes.
- assist with the scheduling data entry, and payer verification as required.
- works independently while managing client and family dynamics.
- Works with nursing, intake and Human Resources Departments to assist in resolution of caregiver issues/concerns
- Enforces homecare staff compliance with state licensing laws and regulations
- Identify staff development needs under direction of the Clinical Director and ensures that in-services conducted/completed annually by caregivers; partner with the HR staff to ensure in-services are updated and meet compliance.
- Works with payroll to correct discrepancies with time sheets.
- Complete employee incident/ accident reports upon notifications of incident by staff or outside agency; and assists in the investigation of client and customer concerns and complaints as directed by the clinical director and quality assurance department.
- Advises the Clinical Director of client care and/or staffing issues or personal issues on a timely basis.
- Works with the Clinical Director to assure that on-call schedules and services are maintained for caregivers and coordinated care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure efficient utilization of personnel.
- Approves requests for time off assuming that there is coverage for all clinical positions/services.
- Maintains current knowledge of home health/home care principles and practices
- Helps maintain cooperative relationships with others agencies, professionals, and referral sources to encourage the exchange of information and services and to upgrade the level of professionalism and quality of home care services.Maintains confidentiality of client and agency information according to HIPPA guidelines.
- Able to resolve client complaint and concerns

- Computer proficiency- ability to navigate basic Microsoft office suite, EMR systems and applicable internet resources per company policy
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare organization
