Retail associate & fashion assistant — Saturdays/Part-time

Ave Lumi is a mission-driven company company aiming to improve the sustainability of the fashion industry for generations to come.

We are looking for a creative, analytical, and motivated individual with a keen eye for style and a knack for market driven solutions to run the store on Saturdays. While this position requires great self-motivation, the right person is also okay with menial tasks and a true entrepreneurial environment. 7 hours per week to start with potential for additional days, hours and responsibilities.

Position offered is paid part-time and in person. Responsibilities include:

• Retail sales and merchandising
• Store task management includes providing outstanding customer experience, inventory management, pricing, display, client outreach, cleaning, etc.
• Organizing and assisting monthly in-store events
• Social media content creation to drive sales
• Supporting e-commerce fulfillment and customer service
• Ability to analyze sales results and trends to set impactful store displays and recommend new season inventory. Potential to assist in buying responsibilities.
• Supporting business development initiatives, with the potential to manage pop-up opportunities in NYC and surrounding areas as opportunities arise.

Background

• 1 to 3 year experience in fashion, marketing, or related industry suggested, but not required.
