Buddies4Life, LLC has been providing residential/host home/adult day program support for individuals with disabilities, throughout Utah, for the last (4) years. Buddies4Life, LLC pride themselves on being a more hands on program and focus on specific goals and activities of daily living that will help their Buddies see success and greater independence.

They seek to ensure that all of their Buddies get the opportunity to practice the highest level of independence through self empowering meaningful relationships and experiences including service projects, fundraisers, job site visits, question/answer meetings with community leaders, local businesses, and their Buddies even practice monthly yoga training..

We are experts in disability care services.

We also are looking for respite/host home parents who are passionate about caring for individuals with disabilities. Traditionally, those who are in the trenches doing the caregiving don't get paid very well, which is why there is a high turnover for individuals in this industry.

We are changing the industry paying $16-$19 an hour for a community based Day Program. The population we work with have a wide spectrum of disabilities and are generally ages 12 and up.

Schedule: 6-8 hour Day shift Monday to Friday taking clients out in the community helping them attain their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Be a caring and compassionate support for adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
• Monitor, record, and communicate changes in client's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the client and family.
• Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.
• Use good judgment when dealing with clients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Exercise appropriate restraint techniques when interacting with clients to prevent injury.
• Operate standard office equipment such as computers and photocopiers.
