Title: Sales & Strategic Planning Analyst
Classification: Exempt/Full Time
Reports To: GM Global Pultrusion and Strategic Planning
Location: Corporate HQ – Bridgeton, MO

Job Summary: The Sales & Strategic Planning Analyst will be an integral member of Zoltek Sales team and support a fast-growing business in advanced materials. This position will work closely with Sales leadership in developing strategy and supporting short-term and long-term business planning.
This position offer a 4 day in office, 1 day work from home schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze cost, pricing, and profitability trends of key products, and provide insights to support business decisions and drive sales strategy
• Develop and monitor industry, customer, and competitive analysis for the business
• Responsible for assessing new markets, and analyzing and sourcing new business opportunities through market research
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize the customer and industry research to inform and impact internal Sales decisions
• Synthesize data into comprehensive, yet concise, actionable insights
• Support forecasting and annual budgeting efforts
• Leverage key relationships across business units and functions in order to seek best knowledge

Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering. Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred
• The individual must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in analytics, strategy, sales and marketing, or finance role in chemicals, materials, or related industry
• Problem-solving mindset with willingness and ability to roll up one’s sleeves and “get things done”
• Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks with fluid timelines and deal with situations that are complex and ambiguous
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Must be a self-starter and intellectually honest
