Sales Representative Job at Kentucky Kingdom
The primary responsibility of the Sales Representative is to deliver admissions and revenue targets within the corporate, consignment, and tour and travel group admission categories. The successful Sales Representative will cultivate and engage a network of prospects in-market through business community networks, tabling opportunities at festivals, expositions, trade shows, face-to-face meetings and oversee all business activity for the consignment group program in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Arrange a full calendar of opportunities to network with prospects; representing Kentucky Kingdom in the Louisville, Nashville, Indianapolis, and surrounding demographic marketing areas
· Coordinate consignment program including servicing existing accounts, as well as cultivating new partnerships; manage relationships including ticket inventory and reconciliation, prospecting events and other customer retention programs
· Support execution of offsite sales events for Kentucky Kingdom
· Data analysis for current program performance; using data to create future acquisition strategies and plans
· Compile sales and activity reports, including meeting outbound call/email quota as set by the Sales Manager.
· Coordinate guest research initiatives for corporate and consignment group admission categories in conjunction with the Sales Manager
· Develop sales collateral and proposals in partnership with the Sales Manager
· Coordinate and implement group marketing initiatives with the Sales Manager
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required
· Proficient in MS Office; Content Management Systems and website analytic programs
· Driven self-starter with a passion for meeting new people and developing relationships
· Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to travel to attend expos and networking events both during and outside of scheduled hours
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays
