The Inside Sales Associate is an integral member of the Sales and Marketing team and is expected to work both independently and as a member of a highly interdependent team. This position plays a significant role in helping the community meet and/or exceed their marketing and sales goals. Responsible for marketing the Summit Vista lifestyle to prospects and analyzing various business metrics to determine the prospects viability and next best step in the sales and marketing process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handles phone and email inquiries of community in a timely and professional manner. Identify needs of prospects. Sets appointments for tours with Retirement Counselors. (80% of job)
  • Keeps up-to-date records of all sales communications by use of CRM.
  • Leads strategic sales follow-up. Carry out prospecting activities, such as calls, emails and/or mail letters to support new leads, follow-up on initial leads, complete marketing reports as needed.
  • Develops and shares sales ideas and techniques.
  • Assists in marketing events as directed by the Marketing and Sales Director.
  • Meet with future residents to aid them in the selection of custom finishes and products. Provide pricing, process and product specification information on their selections. Ensures that residents are provided with quality custom services that are priced fairly and delivered on time.
  • Reviews Marketing Report for accuracy - tracks all reservations, move-ins, refunds, community census.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Sales experience and/or training, especially with conceptual or intangible products preferred.
  • Industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
  • Must have excellent computer and data entry skills.
  • Must have personality or temperament for proper interaction with older clients
  • An equivalent combination of experience, education, and other qualifications may be considered.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Must have persuasive verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
