Rough Finish Job at White River Marine Group
Operates grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications most of which will be (but not limited to) Boxes and Lids (aka storage compartments for boats). Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments to grind angles, contours, lines, spheres, etc. on to surfaces. Grind, sand, clean, or polish fiberglass objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 50% = Using hand Grinders
- 20% = Material Preparation
- 15% = Verification of instructions/ follow-up on specifications
- 15% = Housekeeping/ maintain a safe work environment
- All other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School or Equivalent
Preferred Degree: NA
Experience: Must have advanced beyond skill level of Grinder B
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Must be able to interpret and comprehend verbal and written instructions, basic mathematics and measurements.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision.
