MultiCare is looking for Staff RNs to join our system float pool, supporting our facilities and community-based health services in the Puget Sound Region of Washington state. Our system float pool opportunities require at least three years of experience.

Position Summary
System Float Pool RNs support the Puget Sound area adult hospitals filling a vital role taking assignments at Covington Medical Center, Auburn Medical Center, Capital Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, and Off-Campus Emergency Departments (OCEDs) providing coverage for open shifts, leave of absences, call outs or surges in census. The RN-Float Pool provides clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. The RN-Float puts the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The RN-Float makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority.
Minimum Requirements:
- Three (3) years of experience required
- MultiCare offers are contingent upon COVID-19 vaccination. The only exemptions/accommodations will be for documented medical history or conditions for which COVID immunization is contraindicated or religious/strongly held personal beliefs.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- BSN or an RN License with a signed agreement to complete the BSN within 3 years.
- RN licensure issued by Washington State to practice professional nursing.
- Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements.
