JOB SUMMARY:

The Retail Merchandiser will support store management efforts to drive sales by ensuring the latest products are on the shelves, reset stores and create a quality customer experience in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and Store Management personnel. The merchandise is responsible for servicing company owned and operated stores and supporting retail programs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Retail Merchandiser will stock shelves in company operated stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
• Schedule and perform in-store visits to ensure Merchandise and stocking of shelves is up to par with Company standards.
• The Retail Merchandiser will download/print merchandising directives for Retail Facility In-Store visits.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with Store Management and Retail Associates during In-Store Visits.
• The Retail Merchandiser will effectively merchandise products in stores, ensuring a positive impact is created.
• Read, interpret, and execute Merchandising according to Planograms.
• Retail Merchandiser will correct any On-Shelf Availability opportunities as needed.
• Ensure all Products are rotated and in good selling condition.
• Retail Merchandiser will communicate any and all Pricing Issues in an effective and timely fashion.
• Understand value of In-Store Activities, maximizing time spent in each Retail Facility.
• Retail Merchandiser will accurately document and Record all Merchandising activities performed during In-Store visits.
• Analyze Sales and Customer Trends, making adjustments to Merchandising Plans to ensure optimal results and to maximize the business under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
• Retail Merchandiser will combine plans with design vision to build assortments for Product Merchandising.
• Proactively seek out opportunities to improve Merchandising for Retail Facilities.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned to the Retail Merchandiser as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year of prior experience is a must, ideally within a Retail Merchandising environment.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with Planograms.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a Team atmosphere.
• Must be willing to travel – Minimum 1 Store per Day.
