The Role:

The role of the Restaurant Operations Analyst is to analyze data/processes, create reporting/insights, and develop innovative tools/processes to better support our restaurant team members. You will conduct analysis, find opportunities for process improvement, and report results with the goal of providing actionable information to our restaurant teams and internal leadership. This position will also assist in various aspects of configuration/management of our labor and inventory system.

This is a fun and fast paced position that plays an integral role in the insight we deliver that move and shape the business. Projects for this role will be highly visible in nature and made up of multiple, cross functional efforts.

We are looking for someone who is familiar with emerging technology, including new methods of collecting and applying data insights. This individual must be passionate about the restaurant business and our brand.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and deliver ongoing and ad-hoc reporting to drive actionable and comprehensive insights covering all operational metrics.
• Data analytics: modeling and analyzing financial/performance metrics to better understand business opportunities
• Collaborate and work cross-functionally to support project owners in determining KPIs and metrics for initiatives, providing direction to meet objectives and goals.
• Evaluating/recommending restaurant operational process and design standards
• Partner with the technology team to set parameters for what data is needed and the method of collection.
• Being a subject matter expert and providing support to our restaurant teams in diagnosing issues/challenging that may arise
• Manage multiple projects at one time

The Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study required
• Must have 3+ years of experience in Analyst position.
• Background in Industrial Engineering is a plus
• Understanding of restaurant operations preferred
• Generates innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential.
• Can effectively communicate business and technical information across the organization, being sensitive to the needs of unique audiences
• Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to partner well with other team members
• Strong analytic skills, ability to recognize trends & insights within the data
• Highly versed in applications software including advanced Excel and particularly strong understanding of Tableau, Relational Databases & SQL query execution
• Strong organizational skills, with proven ability to multi-task and prioritize time in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Self-motivated individual that adapts readily to change
• Ability to create, manage and deliver against project timelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
• Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
• For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
• Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
