Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and executing company incentive programs for employees.
- Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Maintain an overall positive management style.
- Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient job operations.
- Assist in overall quality assurance.
- Prepare and present in hourly team member reviews.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the owner and General Manager in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy.
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures.
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards.
- Keeping customers happy and handling complaints.
- Organizing schedules.
- Keeping track of employees' hours.
- Recording payroll data.
- Ordering food, linens, gloves, and other supplies while staying within budget limitations.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
- Highly motivated and able to motivate others.
- Energetic, dependable, and timely.
Other Requirements:
- Cook experience, or willing to learn to cook to assist in the kitchen as required.
- Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Must be 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience.
- Passion for the restaurant business and compassion for people.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to recruit, develop, and motivate team members.
- Flexibility.
- Must be able to create fun in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Must be able to lift approximately 40 lbs.
