Work Schedule: Part Time all shifts:
- 1st shift: 8am-4pm
- 2nd shift: 4pm-12am
- 3rd shift: 12am-8am
Must have some weekend availability.
Education Required: Clinical Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, etc…) and a minimum of one (1) year of Mental Health experience OR a High School Diploma / Equivalency with 12 Behavioral Health college credits and at least three (3) years of Mental Health experience. Must have a valid PA driver's license w/ acceptable driving record. We follow the CMS vaccine mandate; are you able to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19?"
Job Duties / Primary responsibilities:
The Crisis Worker will assist in our Crisis Residential Program and will provide support in a residential setting to individuals experiencing mental health crisis who do not pose an immediate risk to their own or the safety of others.
- Work to develop & implement individual program plans
- Coordinate & arrange the provision of specialized services,
- provide counseling & crisis intervention support.
- Interviews the client, gathers information about the client from the client’s family/significant others, previous or present service providers, criminal justice agencies
- Facilitates groups and activities and provides individual and family counseling
- Maintains accurate and complete clinical records, implements the discharge and referral process, and the court commitment process.
Must be able to work independently and professionally with others and be detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
