The Residency Consultant / Admission Sales Manager is accountable to demonstrate and role model the mission, vision, values and Four Cornerstones of the organization. This position is to secure admissions to all Three Links service venues.


Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED. Bachelor's preferred. Experience in sales, healthcare admissions, social work, casement, nursing or combination of is preferred.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Resource:

Your Responsibility as an Ambassador

Adapts and embraces the organizational culture. Demonstrates/encourages opportunities for carrying out the mission. Promotes positive public relations by regular interaction, membership and/or communication that increases awareness and understanding of offered services by engaging with community organizations. Serves as first point of contact to those seeking services. Conducts initial inquiry interviews. May conduct outbound sales calls, and in-person sales or group presentations. Communicates acceptance or denial of referral to referring organization. Seeks to learn and utilizes appropriate equipment and trends in technology.

Human Resource:

Is collaborative and treats others with respect and dignity. Develops and encourages cooperative relationships. Maintains positive prospect relationships through consistent communication by telephone, email, postal service and in-person contact. Conducts effective sales presentations which inspire the prospect/representative. Influences closings by utilizing techniques which secure final commitment. Manages and updates customer expectations in a positive manner to assure there is an informed, supportive, and committed prospective base. Actively listens to other points of view. Creates moments of hospitality and rewards people who exemplify the organization’s mission. Uses proper phone and computer etiquette when conducting business.

Provides a partnership with other staff which integrates, affirms and advances the organization’s mission, vision, values and Four Cornerstones. Demonstrates what is expected of others. Maintains knowledge of senior services market including demographic, trends and competitive environment. Available to meet with residents, responsible party, and staff as requested or necessary. Able to assist department staff with any assigned job functions in order to ensure tasks are complete and building and grounds are in a safe and orderly fashion. Follows through with promises and commitment. Is honest and collaborative. Inspires others by sharing the vision and the goals of the organization. Assists with completion of surveys and reports as directed by Three Links administration.

Management of Financial Resources:

Your Responsibility to Financial Stewardship

Works with appropriate staff to ensure payment coverage for all admissions. Conducts Medicare, Medicaid and insurance eligibility verifications efficiently and timely to determine appropriate payer sources. Manages self and other’s time effectively and completes work assignments within reasonable and agreed-upon time frames. Arrives to work on time and meetings and is ready to perform at appropriate levels. Respects break times as outlined by the employee Handbook. Responsibly uses supplies and reduces waste wherever possible.

Management of Organization’s Resources:

Your Responsibility to Organizational Stewardship

Provides timely updates with the organization’s software program pertaining to inquiries, admissions, room transfers, discharges and deaths. Ensures resident apartments, units, or rooms are clean and ready for admission. Understands and provides good stewardship of the organization’s resources. Is aware of the organization’s strategic goals; assists in ways to ensure advancement is always the goal. Maintains physical plant and equipment. Promotes the organization to affirm a positive reputation.

Management of Social Resources:

Your Responsibility to Leverage Relationships

Respectfully interacts will all leads. Interviews prospects/representatives to understand how the location will meet their specific needs. Communicates benefit(s) of living in the community that is specific to the prospect/representative’s needs. Promptly provides referrals to admission team. When accepting an admission, communicates and arranges admission details with the discharging entity and designated family members. Clearly communicates financial responsibility to resident/responsible party. Communicates pending admissions to all concerned departments. Assures Customer Satisfaction Surveys are sent, complied and reports outcomes and trends to supervisor and at Quality Assurance. Inspires positive internal and external relationships. Is collaborative and handles conflict resolution timely and effectively. Follows up thoroughly, consistently and holds self and others accountable.

Management of Systems and Processes:

Your Responsibility to be an Effective Team Member

Provides attention to day to day responsibilities. Complies with the department’s policies and procedures and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintains records of activities and files, including all inventory, reservations, holds and cancellations. Ensure tours are conducted. Maintains referral or waiting lists. Accurately records all information obtained during the interview process. Completes all required admission paperwork. Collaborates with Marketing to review advertising strategies/tactics for clarity and alignment with the target market. Carries out Bed-Hold policy when resident is hospitalized. Assists supervisor with campus-wide event planning and implementation. Champions a strong person-centered care philosophy.

Knowledge:

Requires a sincere belief in the importance of the mission, vision, values and Four Cornerstones of the organization. Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to communicate with and motivate employees with diverse ages and backgrounds; knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living.
