Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Places transfer orders for products scheduled to be worked in the depot as instructed by management and planning team
- Acts as a liaison between POS, Planning, Parts, SD/R&R, and technical repair groups to expedite all returns and ensure compliance with the Same Day Shipment guidelines
- Escalates any possible delays in R&R processing to POS and/or management in a timely manner
- Manages, coordinates, and distributes backorder fulfillment reports by directing communication between all departments in order to ensure same day repairs and transfers
- Assists Planning Departments by researching and identifying replacement units as needed to fill customer orders
- Uses available reporting systems to research parts availability for units awaiting parts
- Assists operations team in expediting parts and unit repairs to fill backorders
- Monitors service orders and transfer reports to ensure backorder and R&R units are completed daily
- Works with POS and Returns departments to locate lost customer shipments as directed by management
- Runs necessary reports including Offload Aging Report and Open Order Audit report
- Performs International Shipping of optic engines while complying with the regulatory instructions
- Coordinates with Planning, Quality, Inventory, Customs, and International Shipping departments to ensure timely and error-free shipment of product
- Resolves or escalates any issues related to the international shipments in a timely manner
- Works with depot planning team to ensure optic engine inventory is adequate to support monthly / weekly production forecasts
- Transfers products between inventory branches and assist in resolving any issues
- Create, process, and track purchase orders and incoming supplies.
- Identifies the needs and determines the quantity of product required to order
- Maintains the purchasing spreadsheet to track orders, vendors used, and cost on a regular basis
- Arranges, issues and manages necessary tools, tool boxes, locks, and other items necessary for the repair and refurbishment of various types of products
- Maintains and distributes office supplies inventory and order supplies
- Negotiates pricing for supplies
Qualifications
- Previous material handling experience (2+ years)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with a warehouse management system strongly preferred
