Registered Veterinary Technician Job at Rancho Village Veterinary Hospital
Veterinary Technician: (La Mesa, CA)
Rancho Village Veterinary Hospital is looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who has the passion to provide our animal patients and their owners with exceptional customer service. You must be able to think quickly, follow directions accurately, and work well with veterinarian and fellow staff members. We are a very close group of co-workers and are seeking someone who will mesh well with our current team. Must be able to work Saturdays or Sundays.
Candidates must have experience in the following areas
*Venipuncture
*Pharmacy Duties
*Lab Work (Urinalysis, cytology, ect.)
*Radiology
*Handling Medical Records
*Obtains and records patient case history.
*Provides nursing care
*Prepares animals, instruments, and equipment for surgery
*Assists in diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures.
*Radiographs
*Advises and educations animal owners
*Performs dental prophylaxes. Experience with dental extractions, dental x-rays strongly reccomeneded
*Able to lift up to 50 lbs
RVT preferred, highly trained Non-RVT will be considered.
Non RVTs are required to obtain VASCP
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
