Connec-to-Talk is a privately-owned premier provider of ABA therapy anchored in 18+ years of experience with clinics and in home clients currently located in Connecticut, Maryland, South Carolina and New York (Playmates ABA Therapy, an affiliate of Connec-to-Talk).

The ABA Therapist/RBT is responsible for providing individual treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges using Applied Behavior Analysis principles. The ABA Therapist/RBT implements learning programs under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

Qualifications

• A passion for working with children!
• RBT Certification required - if not certified upon hire must be able to receive full certification within the first 90 Days of employment (Full-time is only available for active RBTs)
• Must maintain RBT Certification
• HS diploma required
• Ability to travel between client locations if needed
• At least 18 years or older to apply

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry clients (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
• Must be able to kneel, squat, sit on the floor and stand for extended periods of time during your ABA session with the client
• Must be physically present at assigned job location(s) which can include clinic, school, client’s home or community based settings
• Must be willing and able to perform crisis intervention (physically hold, restrain or block) as indicated by the client’s Behavior Intervention Plan while working with children with challenging behavior
• Must be able to receive information through oral communication and written communication via phone, computer or tablet
