Highly Successful and Growing School Food Management Company seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Manager for the Texas region for a leadership position in our organization. All candidates would need to live in our existing or future markets. Open to candidates in other markets who are interested in relocation.
The position is full time, year-round, salaried with bonus, benefits and an excellent working environment. Favorable schedule of mostly Monday-Friday with holidays off. Training and relocation programs are available.
Candidate will be part of a growing and successful company that is a leader in school food service. Applicants must enjoy working in a school setting and provide a positive and uplifting meal experience.
Candidate for the position of Regional Manager will possess the following qualities
- Proven ability to manage a team of six or more multi-unit level or above team members
- Willingness to travel out of state for portions of training and oversight of the region.
- Ability to pass an extensive nationwide criminal background check and fingerprint analysis.
- Must possess top hospitality and communication skills, working well with others.
- College degree, or minimum of five (5) years’ experience in multi-unit foodservice management or hospitality operations
- Strong computer and analytical skills, with spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, and documents in both Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with POS and online reporting systems.
- Must have strong leadership skills and abilities, coupled with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to work independently while keeping the executive management team updated on pertinent information from the field.
- Strong track record of driving client and customer satisfaction
- Proven ability in developing and implementing new business in the market.
- Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ServSafe certified
Duties of the Regional Manager will include
- The Regional Manager will direct and organize Food Service function within the region in order to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and merchandising to maximize profits. This is a field-based position
- Will directly manage the Area Managers within the Region and will be responsible for the overall sales, profits, development, and customer satisfaction within each area
- Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures of the region to ensure maximum results from existing accounts.
- Visits units regularly to inspect unit operations to ensure contract compliance.
- Interfaces with existing clients to maintain client satisfaction and account retention.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the Support Center Team, responding to requests and collaborating with teammates across the region to build scalable, region-wide systems, policies, and procedures
