Our Total Recycle Division, a cutting-edge recycle center located in Birdsboro, PA, is looking for reliable and dependable Sorters to become a valued employee on our solid waste collection team to support our ongoing success in a family-like environment.

• 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm(Mon-Fri), rotating Saturday, starting rate: $11.00
• 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm (Mon-Fri), rotating Saturday, starting rate: $12.00
• 3rd Shift: 10p-6:30a(Sun-Thurs), starting rate: $13.00

**Rotating weekend schedule

Sorters will be hand separating recyclables from the stream and removing unacceptable material from the line to ensure the quality of recyclable material processed for sale to mills or brokers.

**If you don't have your own transportation, don't worry we have you covered. Transportation is provided for employees at specific pick up locations in Reading and Pottstown to the Recycling plant in Birdsboro.**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort items or materials according to type, size, condition, color, or paper grade and place in designate bins.
• Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Ensure proper PPE is utilized
• Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record.
• Other duties as assigned

** WEEKLY SAFETY & ATTENDANCE BONUS IS PROVIDED! - Every week, if you have perfect attendance & no injuries, you will be given a $50 bonus on each paycheck!!!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and climbing).
• Exhibit the ability to distinguish between various recyclable materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
